Just like Microsoft Excel, Google sheets columns can be automatically adjusted to fit contents. With a single click or two, you can achieve a column that is exactly the size of the longest string of data in your column.

Google sheets bring with a feature called 'Fit to data' that can increase the size of your column when the string of text or data is longer. This option can also reduce or shrink the column size when the string of text or data is not as long as the column size.

Automatically Resize Column to Fit Data
